The CDMA networks dramatically changed, to reach the qualitative data receiving and transmission. A great number of new nodes and protocols were inserted in the CDMA networks, in order to make data transmission and receiving process faster than in the 2G and 2.5G networks. As a result, modern CDMA structure requires new instruments for maintaining constant technical support and servicing.
The Sapsan system, a modern instrument for distributed monitoring of all communication networks, can be used for the CDMA networks monitoring, producing decoding and analysis of SS7, CDMA and IP network sections.
Due to flexible hierarchical structure, the System provides network state control in the real time mode, regardless of current signaling network state and loading. System is a passive one, so it does not influence the network operating, and does not depend on the commutation devices type.
Hierarchical structure enables to extend each System level, without productivity decreasing. Different module modifications for signaling decoding (further CASL) allow controlling different CDMA sections, including:
- between the base transmitter-receiver station and the base station controller (interaction of BSC and BTS);
- between the base transmitter-receiver stations (interaction of BTS and BTS);
- between the base station controller BSC and packet data network PDN;
- between the base station controller BSC and switching center (interaction of BSC and MSC);
- interaction of CDMA network and PSTN network.
